I should have noted in my previous post that Christian World Adoption has issued a rebuttal to the CBS news story that aired February 15 regarding malpractices in its Ethiopia program. To my mind, it's not very convincing, but you can check it out for yourself.
Responding to the CBS report, journalist Melissa Fay Greene, who probably knows more about Ethiopian adoptions than anyone anywhere, called CWA an agency that "has been a blight on many lives on both sides of the Atlantic" on her blog.
P.S. Five minutes of Googling on my part uncovered the fact that a California couple is suing Christian World Adoption for breach of contract to the shocking tune of $75 million dollars. This lawsuit is totally unrelated to the CBS story.
